The Cheesecake Factory

When the stress of work or school gets you down, you feel the need to escape to a place where the ambiance is relaxing, and the food is great. The Cheesecake Factory is not exactly all over the country. It has nine restaurants in the state of New York. Though you have to drive your way to get a glimpse at their menu, but their famous cheesecakes are worth the wait.

If you have not been to The Cheesecake Factory yet, then you may at least have heard about it- from friends or relatives who have been there, or from culinary connoisseurs who have reviewed and raved about it. After all, the restaurant has been successfully in business since 1978. Thirty-five years later, and The Cheesecake Factory has spread to more than 170 cities, here and abroad.

According to Manager Albert Zaetta, many of the people who come to The Cheesecake Factory for the first time find it difficult to get to the place. But as soon as they experience what the restaurant has to offer, they find delight in knowing that they have discovered one of the best restaurants hidden in the metropolis of New York. To escape this experience from the academic world, I went on a friendly date at The Cheesecake Factory with a buddy. We are both food enthusiasts and regular customers at the cafe because we live near the hot spot. This time our taste buds are set on a new section on their menu.

Famous for their legendary cheesecakes, The Cheesecake Factory has a special selection of contemporary Italian, Greek, French, American, Spanish, English, Asian, Mediterranean, and Mexican dishes ranging from salads, sandwiches, and appetizers to main courses and desserts. Apart from their extensive menu, customers will also be delighted to know that dishes can be personalized as per dietary requirement. Personally, I find this downright impressive because people with special health concerns can enjoy their dining experience without worrying if their heart, kidney, or pancreas is going to compensate later.

My companion and I ordered six exquisite dishes: 1 appetizer, 3 main courses, and 2 desserts. The Tossed Green Salad is also included in their SkinnyLicious Menu. This special menu caters for customers who are calorie-conscious. My friend and I wanted something light and green in the stomach because we were saving the space for the main courses. Our gastronomic pleasures were truly fulfilled and filled with main dishes- roast pork tenderloin with foccacia pancetta stuffing and a marsala jus, Chicken supreme stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese, and tomato saffron risotto with grilled salmon and king prawn. The presentation itself was enough to water the mouths of us two. Both in our 20s, we are not on any strict dieting regimen. So devoured all the dishes presented before our very eyes. The portions are huge so groups and families can enjoy sharing each dish.

Whenever I am at The Cheesecake Factory, I usually order the Herb Crusted Filet of Salmon and Pasta Marinara. As for my dessert and beverage of choice, I go for the Cherry cheesecake and Coco Lychee. Since that particular visit was a challenge for us to try something new on their menu, I opted for the white chocolate chunk cheesecake swirled with macadamia nuts and caramel on a blond brownie crust. Before the food was brought to our table, I had been already having images of the dessert I had ordered. I am very fond of delicious desserts, and this White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut Cheesecake is just one of living evidence why The Cheesecake Factory continues to hold the number one spot in the cheesecake business. It was sinfully creamy and heavenly yummy. Their cheesecake is just one the reminders why I am drawn to this restaurant, time and time again.

The price range in The Cheesecake Factory is just right; although students might find it a little bit out of the budget. If you are looking a place to dine and celebrate something on hand, I highly suggest this restaurant. (Celebrations require a little splurge, but you really cannot call it a splurge if it is spent on good food, right?) For dinners or lunches that are extra special, you can bring your family, special someone, friends, and co-workers here, enjoy their excellent service and sumptuous dishes, and experience all the best things The Cheesecake Factory has to offer.

My grandmother brought my mother to this restaurant when she was 10, and she was instantly hooked. I had my first meal in The Cheesecake Factory when I was 8 with my parents. Ever since then, I tried bringing all sorts of people here to accompany me- high school friends, gym buddies, prom dates, roommates, college classmates, and etc. Basically, each and everyone swear to come again and try other dishes some other time.
